Maintains electrical performance for all plant equipment—including performing repairs, installations, operational inspections and participating in developing improvements. Performs repair-oriented activities on a daily basis, based upon immediate needs and maintenance scheduling. Must understand power transformation and distribution, circuit logic, HVAC systems and have a working knowledge of voltage-ohm meters (VOM), circuit testers, ladder logic (computer logic for electric circuits), and HMI’s (Human Machine Interfaces). Performs mechanical repairs as needed. Must be able to perform circuit testing, soft and hard wiring, and have a functional understanding of electrical components (relays, capacitors, etc.) and instrumentation. Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs all instrumentation, electrical equipment and auxiliary equipment in the calciner and steam plants. Maintains plant and mobile equipment HVAC systems. Performs maintenance checks on and associated repairs to all instrumentation and electrical equipment. Calibrates process equipment and instrumentation to meet the requirements for reliable operation, high quality production, precise process control, and ISO compliance. Operate mobile equipment as required to perform maintenance work. Reports any problems or safety issues to appropriate personnel. Participates in the continuous improvement of product and plant processes and performs other duties as required. Computer literacy is essential to performing the duties of this job.

Qualifications :
|
|
Two years related training from college or vocational school; and/or two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of industrial experience.

To develop power generation projects and coke calcining projects in the USA, India, and China. The employee provides a liaison between senior management and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies, regulatory authorities, vendors and customers for major projects. Reports to the Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development. In charge of project management at all stages of major project development from sales and negotiation through estimation to commissioning. This involves dealing with issues of feasibility, such as regulatory affairs, rights-of-way and environmental compliance, issues of sales with potential customers, as well as issues of economics, such as commercial contract negotiation with EPC providers. The employee would manage some projects directly during construction and act as owner’s representative with the use of project management firms and engineering firms or construction companies.

Qualifications :

Must have a degree in engineering, plus 10 years minimum experience in project development or project management working with large scale high temperature oil, chemical or utility process equipment. Must understand estimation tools and be able to write the scope requirements for Front-End-Load engineering requests. Must be familiar with construction project scheduling, bidding, and cost tracking techniques. Travel requirements estimated at a maximum of 3 weeks duration at a time, depending on location, and varying in frequency.
