Petroleum coke is produced in refinery coking units where the vacuum
distillation residues of crude oils are thermally cracked and separated
into gases, liquids and coke. Rain CII's commitment to quality begins with
careful selection of raw materials (green coke) from petroleum refineries.
Green coke must meet Rain CII's standards for structure, size, volatile content
and purity.

Green cokes are received at the calcining plants where they are placed within our designated storage facilities.

cokes are separated based on type and quality. Ample green coke storage capacity permits flexibility in blending different qualities of green coke to meet customer requirements before the calcining process begins.
